Berkeley Therapist – About Me
I enjoy helping people work through personal struggles, whether they be about relationships, self-esteem, anxieties, depression, trauma, or dealing with a loss of any kind. My style is interactive and empathic, helping people to transform old patterns, meet their needs, and create fulfilling relationships. Life can be hard, and I strive to help people maneuver themselves through the difficult times.
I am a California Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, MFT# 37530, and a Certified Practitioner of Coherence Therapy.
I continue to study with Bruce Ecker, a co-founder of Coherence Therapy, Diane Poole Heller, the founder of DARe (Dynamic Attachment Repatterining experience), which combines somatic and attachment therapy, and Ellyn Bader, the co-founder of the Couple’s Institute in Palo Alto. I also have specialized training in psychodynamic and cognitive therapy, as well as in mindfulness meditation.
I am alway learning, staying on the cutting edge of the psychotherapy field, deepening my knowledge and experience of therapies that I find the most effective. This keeps the work alive and exciting for me.
